The cover design is uncredited, but the author photograph on the rear cover is by Trevor Leighton (this is the familiar one of James Herbert surrounded by darkness with the left hand side of his fact in shadow - used on the cover of his biography). The front flap of the dust cover tells you about the contents of the book and the rear flap gives details about James Herbert's previous work and also that of the photographer, Paul Barkshire.
