General description of the dust cover |
Cover design by " www.blacksheep-uk.com". The story outline appears on the front both flap of the dust cover. On the rear flap is a photograph of the author seated on the edge of a desk, presumably in his own office at home. This is photograph of which I have a signed and dedicated copy. There then follows the usual paragraph giving details about the author's success and saying that he has sold more than 50 million copies of his books worldwide. |

Number of pages and chapter details |
The story runs from page 1 to page 394. The book starts with some quotes before we start the first of 48 chapters numbered as "1" to "48" |

Roger's Review |
An absolutely cracking book with a brilliantly original story. Highly exciting and horrifying, from the intriguing first line, I literally could not put it down and read it in four sessions. James Herbert is just getting better and better and this is up there with 'Domain' as one of the best novels of all time. If you read any James Herbert novel at all, you have got to read this superb book. 10 out of 10. |
